This is an acrylic painting on canvas board 6" x 8" mounted on a wood frame that I made with firring strips and old house lathe which is 7" x 9". The painting was treated with acrylic gloss varnish. This started out as a man with a hat. I do not edit the imagery much and these birds and faces begin to emerge. I then make aesthetic decisions to make this a complete strong work.
